John Watermann - First Shudder Project
Over the years I have accumulated a rather large collection of CDs, particularly in the dark, heavy and hard genres of industrial, ambient, metal, experimental and noise. Many of the release are either no longer available, or enjoyed only a limited release, although digital catalogues are slowly starting to creep into this very niche space. This is just a sampling of particularly notable or outstanding tracks. I have also avoided posting duplicates of already existing videos, which is to say almost all metal, industrial and ambient tracks I wanted to share. Even though it leaves some gaping holes in this collection, I am happy to offer at least a starting point for listeners to explore. I am very selective in my posts, and only made available a small sampling of tracks, but they are all obviously copyrighted and owned by someone. If an artist or copyright owner wishes for me to remove this video, please contact me via YouTube mail, don't send your nasty lawyers. ===----------- --- -- - -- --- -----------=== Very abstract and experimental in sound, sparse with bleeps and random outbursts throughout. Nevertheless, there is progression as the track winds its way through the 8 minutes. The album tends to sound more abstract and less like music; knowing the album and song titles turns the spooky sounds into something much more sinister and unsettling.
