- Finally ask to join in a friendly voice
Practicing at Home:

-Take turns coming up with play ideas ...As a parent, tell your child you are going to take turns coming up with an idea for play time, " I will go first. Let's be cooks and mix up a cake with this bowl and spoons."
Play for a few minutes. Then ask: "What is your idea?"
Play together for a while. Continue taking turns coming up with ideas for playing with other items from around the house.
