I thought Lithium fit the story of Joker (2019) very well. The music video is supposed to represent the psyche of Arthur Fleck who saw the "Joker" fantasy as an escapism from his cruel unforgiven life, a life where he is beaten down and tormented, probably having to hear that he's supposed to "like it" and put on a smile or whatever else is necessary for society to keep the gears turning. "I like it, I'm not going to crack" As the music video continues, he begins to accept this "Joker" fantasy and become one of sOciEty. just kidding, it's not that deep but I thought this song would be fun to edit Arthur with!
