Joko kata are kihon kata for the junior black belt practitioners. There are five Joko kata and each one has its unique techniques and enbusen. Issei is same as Shodan, the first kata. It has the body shifting of forward and backward such as jodan zuki as you step back.
In Junro Yondan there was a zig zag movements. In Joko Issei you do zig zag shifting by stepping back (to neko ashi dachi). It also has a tenshin of 270 degrees turn pivoting on the rear foot. There are many other interesting techniques so enjoy practicing this kata. In this video, the kata was done at half speed.
