Joni Holmes - Working memory and classroom learning

Working memory (WM) supports classroom learning. Low levels of WM performance are widely reported in groups of children with difficulties in reading, maths and science. I will review the impact of WM problems in the classroom and discuss how these issues can be managed. I will also emphasise the need to consider broader cognitive profiles when developing targeted interventions to support individual children.
