Journey - Beta (Part 2)

The long journey won't be traversed alone. Off into the distance, another person glides away; urging the mysterious character to meet. This is when Journey shines fully. The companion (the companion is another player; no PSN tag or mic communication will pop up) speaks at times, runs with you and even races you towards the next destination. As said, communication is possible by letting out a soft chime and it'll respond in kind or in a louder chime. With this companion, the journey becomes far more enjoyable and whimsical. Chasing the cloth kites with the companion was truly exciting. The urge to stop and look for them, to not feel alone in the desert, was a surprising reaction. Eventually, the companion does disappear along with the kites and a darkness takes over, ending the beta trial; sadly. Side note: Apologites for the PSN error, the beta has tendency to kick players offline and crash/freeze.
