Although mainly famous for her comic monologues, Joyce was also a talented singer, actress and poet and was very knowledgeable about music, appearing as a regular on the BBC television classical music quiz "Face the Music". In this skit she mimics different types of singers with her remarkable gift for detail, to great comic effect.
