Jumping Rope is not only a great Cardiovascular workout but it also amazing for shortening your amortization phase which is the amount of time it takes for you to get off the ground after landing. Shortening this phase increases overall explosiveness and strengthens the foot complex which is where movement starts. If the foot is weak, problems will show up if not there then somewhere else up the chain of movement.
