Jurassic context

Jurassic Team Leader Richard Forrest gives us a rundown of the Kellaways Formation and the objectives for the Jurassic side of the dig. What do we know about what was happening here in the Callovian (Middle Jurassic) and which questions still need answering? Is this work just as important as the Pleistocene side of the dig? Cerney Wick: Palaeocast was granted special access to 2024's excavations at Cerney Wick, allowing us to record media from within the field.
