Nadab and Abihu’s sobering account teaches a timeless lesson about worship, authority, reverence, and obedience to God. Their sin was not abandoning religion, but offering what God had not commanded. Sincerity, tradition, emotion, and good intentions cannot create divine authority. In this episode, we consider why God’s silence is not permission and why small changes become serious when they go beyond His word. Modern religious practices must be examined with open Bibles, not personal preference. God must be honored above family, feelings, excuses, privilege, and reputation. Faithfulness means stopping where God stopped and obeying what He has spoken.
