Just Gowanus: An Interactive Performance Tour was presented by Artichoke Dance Company in July of 2021 in the Gowanus neighborhood. Just Gowanus brings audiences to locations along the Gowanus Canal in Brooklyn, NY integral to the superfund clean up of the toxic canal and targeted for new development through a large scale rezoning. Along the way, dance works created by Lynn Neuman for Artichoke Dance Company are performed, audiences participate in interactive activities and take action for the sustainability of the area.
