Kamlapur elephant
We received a heart breaking news from department about Mangala and Rani's babies. our sincere thanks to Maharashtra State Forest Department for calling Team Trunk Call. We moved to Kamlapur. When we reached in Kamlapur camp, both mothers were in the lake. Mangala came to Anand Shinde, they had a interaction and she went back in the water. Anand sat on the shore of the lake. Suddenly Mangala and Rani came to him, Mangala kept her head in front of him and started crying. he pampered her a lot. Tried his best to convince her. She took some time but she did listen to him....... The herd was little upset due to back to back deaths of two baby elephants. Forest Department had put responsibility on Trunk Call founder Anand Shinde to soothe and calm them. It was a tough task. It took one visit and 3 days. we are happy that they started behaving normal. Yes same like humans, elephants miss their herd members on their deaths. And they are more upset on the death of a baby. Anand actually played with them and diverted them from situation. We need to understand them a lot it is a need of future. Thank you Mitesh Bhuvad for video. Save Elephant Save Yourself 🐘 https://trunkcall.org/
