Kassander - Creation

With the release of this second album, the artist offers a deeper insight into a production approach rooted in simplicity and authenticity, particularly appealing to synth enthusiasts and lovers of electronic sound design. The album was created using a deliberately minimal and transparent workflow. The production process avoided excessive corrections, quantization, EQ, compression, and pre-amplification, allowing the natural character of each sound source to remain intact. External hardware synthesizers were connected directly to the audio interface, capturing raw, unprocessed tones. A select number of external FX units were also used to shape and enhance certain elements, alongside a limited use of software plugins to complement the overall sonic palette. The hardware setup includes a range of iconic synthesizers and equipment such as the Virus TI, S3000XL, TT-303, JD-990, EX5R, JP-8000, Juno-106, Jupiter 6, SH-101, Polysix, Dominion 1, Minimoog, Quantum and more. Listeners may notice subtle imperfections throughout the album which is an intentional choice that reflects the artist’s commitment to preserving a raw and organic sound aesthetic.
