Kayak sailing has been slow to catch on in the UK and given that the good sails cost over £400 it is not surprising. Have made two so far and each one has cost a fraction of that. The mast and boom aluminium poles were purchased from an online supplier and the other fixtures and fitting were sourced from various chandlers and boat awning suppliers. I made the sails from a donated J24 mainsail. All stitching was done by hand with a Speedy Stitcher Sewing Awl - slow, but effective.
