Ke Ho'olono Nei

Ke Ho’olono Nei Choreographed by Kumu Clark Bolivar Jr. Music recording artist Leokane Pryor Lyrics by Suzanne Case ~ Suzanne Case (the Executive Director of the Nature Conservancy at the time) wrote an English language poem titled "The Call of the Birds" in the year 2000. Hawaiian Transcription by Kaliko Beamer Trapp ~ Kaliko was asked to adapt the poem into Hawaiian; He completed it in May of 2000. He originally called the mele "Kāhea a ka Manu" but it was renamed "Ke Hoʻolono Nei" as it was all part of the wonderful project that Suzanne and musician Leokāne Pryor were working on about caring for the land and the biosphere.
