Keep Your Head Up

I rarely do actual ANIME - related videos anymore but this one I couldn't overlook. Believe it or not, I started this a good while ago but inspiration came and went often until recently. Then I just went for it. A friend of mine who I hold close like a best friend has been dealing with some stuff and I just felt that they needed a real pick-me-up other than a little picture edit heh. Oddly enough, one of the last conversations the friend and I had was about Fruits Basket. Thus when I went looking for something to use, this came to mind after scrapping a previous concept when I started work early on. The idea might be hard to follow so I'll explain as best as I can. It's really about Tohru feeling she has to deal with things by herself. Obviously there's points in the video that show she doesn't have to feel that way. In particular the line 'in your sleep, its never over when you give up' accompanied with clips of people being with Tohru is meant to represent people not abandoning Tohru even if she makes the choice to just give up. Hopefully, everything else is self exclamatory :) I had to clip the song itself a bit because, let's face it, a sad Tohru is hard to find in Fruits Basket LOL. I'll also admit, this song itself was a real tear-jerker for me. Definitely felt relatable Anyway to that friend, should you see this, you know who you are, I hope you like this and I hope it cheers you up. To every one else watching, enjoy!
