We witnessed some magic by the creekside at last year’s event. Luckily, we captured a bit of it on film too.
Kelly McFarling and her band hosted a special DIO Session at DIO Fest 2018. The group performed an acoustic rendition of “Records”, the second track off their latest album, Water Dog. It was a suiting selection on this Saturday afternoon, given the flowing creek and Kelly’s two dogs swimming behind us. One of the pups even chimes in with a barking solo, to serenade the vibe.
Complete with a couple egg shakers and plenty smiling faces, this Session sums up what our events are all about. These are some of the moments that make it all worth it.
