I was, as I shared in this call, inspired to have this call with Kevin after many weeks of less communication between us, and after a conversation with a group of women from St Hilda's Church who are committed to creating and holding space for financial, material and non-material value to flow. By 5 years of coincidence and synchronicity, Kevin and I have become more and more known to each other, despite the elements of reality that come between us. Kevin, a Kenyan born descendant of the Luo peoples. Me a Canadian born descendant of people whose name I don't know, so I call them white europeans. We each were born into very different versions of Modern Culture. We came into contact because of shared interest and devotion to permaculture principles. In our relating I ache for Kevin to become ready, willing and able to take interest in Archan Permaculture. For now, I experiment with holding my cultural space while feeling, speaking, and holding space to create possibility for Kevin and his world, his family, and the land he stewards in Kenya. I want the kinds of abundance I experience to happen in the space that Kevin IS, and into the spaces around him.
