This seminar introduced and welcomed the new member of the housing team, Joshua Jackson, who, together with Zia Nabi, talked about key recent developments in homelessness. Josh and Zia reviewed homelessness cases from the past year, focusing on themes from recent cases and emerging issues in the current political and funding environment. Josh discussed local authorities’ housing needs assessments and process duties, and how they relate to suitability decisions and reviews, while Zia covered housing supply, procurement, and enforcement.
