Blog: http://www.melaniekham.com Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/melaniehamdesigns Twitter: https://twitter.com/#!/melanieham Pinterest: http://pinterest.com/melanieham/ Instagram: http://instagram.com/melaniekham Snapchat: MelanieKHam Key Fob Instructions: Cutting: Cut a piece of fabric 3.5 x 10 inches Cut a piece of medium stiffness interfacing 1.25 x 10 inches Cut a piece of fusible fleece (or regular fleece interfacing) 1.25 x 10 inches Prep Iron Fabric in half lengthwise to create a crease insert medium stiffness interfacing and place the fleece on top iron up a slightly larger than a 1/4 inch up onto the interfacing and repeat on the other side. Check the sizing against the 1.25 key fob hardware and press all the layers together. Using pins or clips, clip the open side together Sewing Sew a stitch slightly smaller than a 1/8 of an inch using your presser foot as a guide to close the layers. Repeat on the other edge of the fabric Add another 2 stitches evenly spaced to create 4 lines of stitching down the key fob Press well Hardware Using a piece of batting and needle nose pliers, close the hardware slightly to make it easier to attach to the fabric Trim ends of fabric to create a clean edge Insert fabric into hardware and using pliers and batting, close the hardware over the fabric strap.
