This is a 20" hat. We are knitting with the same mystery yarn. The basic idea with a hat is the number 44. 44 rows for the inner brim, 44 rows for the Fair isle brim, and 44 rows for the main part of the hat. Then we knit 4 rows on every other needle for the crown. Remove on yarn tail and seam.
I change it up a little bit by rounding the numbers up
