In any fantasy world, there are different factions working towards their own ends. Some are good, some are evil, some fall more into the murky middle ground. Whatever the case, there are always adventurers who take jobs for either side, providing the coin is right. These can sometimes be the most fun to write, because you never know quite what to expect from them at any one time.
