USGS had live cameras aimed at the Kilauea caldera on the Big Island of Hawaii. For months it has been erupting in cycles with spectacular fountaining. Today, Nov. 3rd 2025, I tuned into the video cam and captured this scene of a low fountaining vent creating a large pool of lava which would spill over into a beautiful fall like water over a dam. This video shows normal speed and ends with time lapse for dramatic effect.
