A tutorial on creating a simple alcohol ink background around your copic coloured images. You can use this technique with any image to create some visual interest and it works great on stand-alone colouring pieces or as backgrounds for your colouring and cardmaking projects. *Please note this tutorial is from 2016 and is not indicative of our current colouring classes at Kit and Clowder - however I kept it up for a bit of fun for everyone as it was popular a long time ago :) To learn more about colouring with markers, and pencils, check out our online colouring classes at www.kitandclowder.com Materials used - Selection of Alcohol Inks These can be any brand and in any colour but I've used my Copic Various Ink Refills in colours B99, B91, BG01, and BV02. Try to pick a dark and light base colour (I've used a dark and light blue) with a few brighter accents as a good starting background - Rubbing Alcohol I've used Isocol which is 100% Isopropyl. You can use your Colourless Blender Fluid if you have this. - Small egg cup or bowl to put the rubbing alcohol in - White Gel or Paint pen, or a small paint brush and white paint Image: Smells Like First Snow by The East Wind
