Knight speedpaint

I created this work for "Tournament of the Seven Kingdoms" contest held by @SmirnovSchool . The goal was to create and write a knight character based on the Game of Thrones universe, and then, using my own specifications, design the character and the associated location. For example: long ago, a corps of the army of one of the great houses set out on an expedition across the Long Sea, led by one of the less prestigious lords of one of the powerful houses (a fourth or fifth son, not expecting a large inheritance, but eager to prove himself). So he sets out across the sea, encounters Eastern culture, the Dathraki barbarians, and other things completely unlike medieval Europe. There, the corps sets up camp, begins trading, and later discovers deposits of some very valuable minerals (gold or precious stones). Then, having gained strength, wealth, and consolidated his power, when a simple camp has turned into a fort, then a fortress, and then a thriving city, this lord decides to break away from his ancestral house and found his own. So, we take the aesthetics and foundation of an existing house (medieval Europe) and blend it with influences from Eastern cultures. And so, after a few generations, we have a completely new, established faction, which has a European foundation, but, influenced by time spent in a completely different environment, has adopted a large number of aesthetics from other cultures. Character: a lord, already in the third generation from the first founder (that same 4th or 5th son), but already a cool, wealthy lord with his own opulent castle (maybe even a city) and an army in full force. And his ancestor, the first lord, was, for example, a Lannister. And so they found themselves in the desert, and the Lannister coat of arms is a lion. And this guy thought, "I'm still a Lannister," but now I'm in the desert, and in the desert there are scorpions (Lion + Scorpion = Manticore). Coat of Arms: The manticore - a lion - refers to the ancestral home and royal nobility, the scorpion - a symbol of strength, menace, and power in the desert. The color black symbolizes that the founder of the new house was the most unrecognized and rejected in the ancestral home, and also that he was a dark horse. The gold background symbolizes sand, as well as the gold in which the owner now literally bathes.
