This video is on the lace application on the knitmaster 323 Knitting Machine. Instruction. Make an open edge or closed edge cast on, over sixty needles and knit about ten rows, on the ninth row with the carriage on the left, take the thin yarn and knit together on the tenth row so the carriage is on the right. Take the lace Punch Card and set card release to (triangle). Secure ends with clamps, turn card until its in the position you want, leave card release to (triangle). Take the thin sewing thread or yarn and thread it through the left side of the yarn break. Turn it round completely around the yarn break center-otherwise the thin yarn thread will have no tension. Adjust yarn brake, tension for thread to five. The tension dial of the carriage is always set to suit the yarn knitted through feeder 1. Insert the claws through the edges of the knitting. To secure the thin thread properly, knit it in the pre-setting row together with the yarn feeder 1. So, thread the thin thread through feeder 1. Knit the pre-setting row to the left. Row indicator shows 1 and Row Counter 9. Carefully remove the thin thread from feeder 1 and thread through feeder 2-make sure it is to the left of the feeder guide pin. Set cam lever to L-Arm levers set to (triangle). Tension dial is set to suit the yarn in feeder 1(mine was 7). Not moving the carriage too fast, knit about 40 rows of pattern, insert the claws through the last rows of pattern.
