Knitting a circular fingerless mitten (Hand-knitting tutorial)

The geometric shape of a circle is striking visually. It is actually easy to hand-knit. The wedges are made by decreasing stitches at one end. Seam up the side to make a circle, and then pick up stitches in the center for the thumbhole. My yarn is gradient, so it creates an interesting effect. This is more of a light worsted-weight yarn. If you have a smaller hand, just cast on fewer stitches than 24. This pattern can be quickly knitted by a home knitting machine. Next time, I might try it on an LK150.
