Korg M3 Combis

This demo consists of some of my favourite Combinations from the Korg M3. Basically, I just sat down and played for and hour and a half and then whittled down the resulting file to the 20 minutes or so you've got here. Those of you who have listened to my previous demos will know that I tend to go for the more atmospheric sounds. Some of the highlights are listed below. 00:00 A001 The Orchestra (with velocity switching); 00:13 ProStrings XY Solo (a string quartet expands to full ensemble using XY motion pad); 00:39 A022 Fireside (lovely layering of guitar and a delayed flute sound); 01:44 A032 Across the Milky Way (nice piano/pad combi, opening filter on ribbon); 03:16 A054 Heavy Dirigible Blues (Led Zep); 06:40 B020 Pizzicato/SW1 Strings (legato/pizz on SW1); 06:48 B024 Pipe Organ (UseSliders) (sliders act as drawbars); 07:38 B047 Orchestral Percussion; 09:28 B084 Tangerine Horizon (a brilliantly-realized Tangerine Dream pastiche); 10:54 B116 Prog Rock Trios for $50 (another brilliant pastiche, this time ELP); 15:26 C028 Prog Rock Still Lives (Deep Purple?); 18:28 C086 Son of the Musical Fox (Musical Box-era Genesis this time). All sounds were played live, direct to a Roland R-05 digital recorder; there are no external effects, sequencers or overdubs. Everything comes directly from the M3. I edited the original sound file using MP3 Direct Cut - mainly to excise the unwanted bits but also to put in place a couple of fades where I thought they were needed.
