Krystal Klear | Autobahn

For the studio heads out there, I made this track while sitting in Hong Kong airport then eventually completing it in my studio in Dublin. A lot of my tracks these days start this way due to my schedule. My goal was to make this undulating mesmerising rhythm made of 5 different synths playing individual notes. Once I achieved that, it sounded to me like a song made for driving and at that point I figured it be a cool ‘tip of the hat’ to include the Autobahn vocal (thanks to @Anna liset.jet ) I wanted the sequence to work like Stevie Wonder’s “don’t you worry about a thing” in that every 4-8 bars something new happens in the arrangement but in order for it to impact in the club it needed to almost brake, stop and halt in the club after just the right amount of time listening to the same moving riff in order to gain a reaction.
