Kumbak Kamping
Welcome to Trek’s Walkabout. https://trekswalkabout.com Join Kate and Jess, (the Labrador) as we start our solo travels. After losing my husband to Glioblastoma grade 4, GBM 4, brain cancer in April 2025. I promised to fulfil our dreams of travelling Australia, something we have done together for the last 40yrs. We still have a lot of country to see. So if you love travelling Australia and want to tag along as we explore our amazing country, we would love you to join us, then subscribe and see what we get up too. This episode we stay at Kumbak Kamping which is 5km from Imbil at Brooloo. 15km north of Kenilworth. 2hrs north of Brisbane. 11 sites next to a creek. Some have great creek access. Sites are large and suitable for groups and families. All sites have fire pits, a crate of firewood can be delivered to your site. You have to be fully self sufficient, own shower and toilet. Must take your own rubbish out with you. Pet friendly. Yes I spelled it wrong on the title photo :) opps. This is a really great camping area, very peaceful, sites are private. A big 5 paws from Jess. More information can be found in Wikicamps, you must book. https://www.facebook.com/KumbakKamping/
