Kusudama "Flower Ball" Video Tutorial
You need: What you need: x60 sheets of 4"/10cm square paper (scrapbook paper is good, ranging from 80gsm to 160gsm. Here we're using 160gsm) - mini pegs or paper clips - pva glue - ribbon (1m or desired length) chopstick or pencil - bone folder (recommended for thicker paper) Welcome to this tutorial on how to make a Kusudama Flower Ball. This was one of our first DIY printed kits created years ago at the beginning of going to markets – we used to make up the kusudamas in full, however many customers would ask if we had DIY kits to make it up themselves. Henceforth, we then started making DIY kits. It wasn’t for a few years later that we began filming video tutorials as well, and we have gone back to this kit to make one for it as people have different learning styles and we like to accommodate to be able to teach a wider audience of people. Please enjoy the tutorial and I hope to make more videos to drive your creativity. A quick hello from us to you if we’ve seen any of you at one of the local markets we attend (although, not at the moment as they are all cancelled due to COVID-19) Firebird Creations, Ballarat | Australia *** Thank you for watching this tutorial and hope it and gave you inspiration to make your own.
