This is a short video of revision tips that is designed to help students who are studying towards CIPS Level 4, Module 2 (L4M2) Defining Business Needs. This covers learning outcome 3 which helps students to understand the use of specifications in procurement and supply. Including different types of specifications used in procurement and supply and sources of information that can be used to create specifications, sections of specifications for through life contracts, the risks that can result from inadequate specifications and mitigation approaches and opportunities to regulate short and longer term specifications.
