LA-2A Compressor Plug-in Comparison Shootout [VOCAL]

A comparison of six plug-in models based on the LA-2A hardware compressor. Plugins included are: Waves CLA-2A (http://www.waves.com/plugins/cla-2a-compressor-limiter) Ik Multimedia T-Racks White 2A (http://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/trwhite2a/) Native Instruments VC 2A (http://www.native-instruments.com/en/products/komplete/effects/vc-2a/) UAD Teletronix LA-2A Silver, Grey, and Original (http://www.uaudio.com/store/compressors-limiters/teletronix-la-2a-collection.html) Settings are similar on each unit but set by ear as well as level matched by ear. Some sound better pushed a little harder. Remember, in use, comparisons between plug-ins is of lesser value. I think all these can give you great results (though I do have my favorite for this track ;) Its been noted that the IK is set to Limit Mode. My apologies, keep this in mind.
