Spitfire Audio founder Paul Thompson shares an update about the future of LABS. LABS is becoming part of Splice INSTRUMENT — a brand-new virtual instrument built by the LABS team together with Splice, shaped by your feedback, and officially launching on October 2nd. But don’t worry — LABS isn’t going anywhere. You’ll still be able to use the plugin just as you do today, so your projects are safe. We’ll continue releasing LABS+ packs through 2025, and the plugin will remain supported well into 2026. The difference now is that LABS is joining something bigger: a new home inside Splice INSTRUMENT, where you’ll get a fresh interface, easier browsing, new ways to find inspiration, and regular new presets featuring the best of Spitfire Audio and Splice content.
