A quick drive up the coast from Perth lands us in Lancelin, a small WA beach town known for dunes, wind, and crystal blue water… not golf. But this little country track genuinely surprised us.
We’re taking on the front 9, and for a layout carved between sand dunes, the fairways and greens were in far better shape than expected. Huge credit to the volunteers and locals who keep this place rolling.
It was extremely windy out there, apparently classic Lancelin conditions and the breeze turned even the simplest shots into proper challenges.
It’s Mitch vs John off the stick. A full 18 was played, but only the front 9 made it to camera. Who walks away with bragging rights??
