This is our terrier "Lani" doing what she loves most - swimming. We adopted her at 1 year and first exposed her to the beach shortly after. At first she was terrified of the water. One year later, it is not uncommon for her to swim for 30 minutes straight. As we walk the beach, she follows about 75 feet from shore. We bought the vest to give her a little extra security as she tends to sink (no body fat) if she gets scared. The flag was just a little something to hopefully bring a few smiles and laughs to the beach goers who see her doing her thing.
