Large Class V Light-Cured Composite on Root Surface

This is part of a lecture I did for students and faculty at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. This large class V light-cured composite covers the entire exposed buccal root surface of a maxillary central incisor. I use the Clear Custom Matrix Technique to place and conform this large composite, which allows me to easily duplicate the original contours of the root while saving valuable shaping and finishing time since the composite is light-cured WITHOUT an air inhibited layer.
