Large Hadron Collider - how it works and is used

The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) is truly awe-inspiring. Located on the outskirts of Geneva, Switzerland, it’s the world’s largest scientific instrument and most powerful probe of frontier physics. It collides protons with unprecedented energy, allowing researchers to observe particle behaviour at the smallest scale currently accessible to mankind. Beyond these sensational facts, however, the LHC is providing an incredible body of knowledge about our universe; and this fascinating presentation will explain how.
