Laser resizing a platinum, diamond set ring

The ring was increased in size from UK size K to size M. A carefully measured piece of Platinum 950 was laser tacked in place, then chamfered to a 'V' shape to allow for total weld penetration. Platinum 950 wire (not solder) was added with the laser. Resizing was completed by filing, sanding and polishing, resulting in a completely seamless size alteration to the band.
