Launching Python Scripts from Microsoft Access / VBA
In this video, we're going to look at calling another program from Microsoft Access, specifically a Python script. While the Visual Basic for Applications language is very versatile and powerful, there are some modern applications that a language Python is simply more suited to. The good news is that you can use Access and Python together to get the job done. Just for this demo, I'm building a script launcher interface with Access although, in most cases, you might choose to run a single Python script from somewhere in your VBA code. If you don't work with Access much, this will also show you some of its abilities. This demo is also a good look at debugging in VBA and other part of Access design.
