Just a short presentation for a Materials Class.
I talk about how I considered steel, PVC Plumbing Pipe, and PVC Electrical Conduit for my clothing rods in my laundry/closet area.
I evaluated based on atomic structure, elastic modulus, and beam deflection.
Basically, I decided it was dumb to buy electrical conduit again when steel would have been the objectively better choice. Oh well. Fun little way to literally quantify that stupidity.
