Layer Maker: Manual Relationships in Layer

Manual relationships let you explicitly link items from one category to another in Layer. In this video, you will learn how to create a manual relationship between rooms and products, allowing you to define exactly which equipment and furnishings belong in each room. We walk through how to create a manual relationship field, choose the related category, and configure options like selection mode, quantity tracking, and field visibility. You will also see how to link products to rooms, set quantities, create new related items on the fly, and navigate between related elements. This lesson also covers how manual relationships work in both directions and how to look up related data, such as product images, FF&E types, and other fields, directly inside your room data sheets.
