Layer Masking in Photoshop:
Masking is believed to be a powerful tool to hide or remove a part of an image(Without interrupting the original condition of the image). Often preferred over the Eraser tool, since it cannot bring back the original image, unless Ctrl + Z is used as a 'Savior'!
