Laying Ceramic Floor Tile
Laying roughly 170 square feet of porcelain tile in the new kitchen. The layout is diagonal to follow the junction between the living room / hall and the kitchen area, and I thought it would look more interesting. It's more work doing it on an angle like this, since my tile cutter isn't big enough to handle these cuts, so I had to do them all on the tub saw. The first part of the floor was sloping down and I had to build that up so that the tiles would look flat. But the rest of the floor was new and perfectly flat already, and it went a lot quicker there.
