Leap Motion Cyborg Hands

I never asked for this. Can someone please get me some painkillers or a Cyberboost pro energy bar? Oh god my hands ow. So I got my hands on a Leap Motion today. As you can see, I need to find a way to filter the skeletal data to prevent obviously invalid solutions like sudden left/right inversions or colliding / crumpled fingers from happening. As I learned a bit about the leap motion, I'm discovering that I need a way to black out areas in the IR camera. UPDATE: you can drape certain fabrics over the walls and paint stuff with acrylic paint to black the environment out. Bring the tracker with you when you go shopping so you can see how it looks in the cam before purchasing anything. Oh also, it tends to work better if you put your hands really close to your face. It's awkward but it helps a great deal. My goal once this is finally working properly is to create a virtual work space so I can program, design and art in 3d. I'll probably do a file browser, extended desktop, etc. And yes, this is a simplified version of my room. I even measured it and everything!
