Learn with me: Argent Metal / Doomcore

Hi, I'm Matt, and in this episode of Learn With Me, I'm attempting to write a genre I've never tried before: Argent Metal, also known as Doomcore! This subgenre is typically characterized by low-tuned guitar riffs, industrial electronic sounds, and atmospheric, aggressive, dark tones. I took inspiration from artists like Void Amber, Geoffplaysguitar, Alamander and Mick Gordon to create a track with heavy guitar layering, deep sub-bass from a Moog, and some really dark, glitchy textures.
