This is a video funded by Co Operation with Northern Ireland funding scheme and the Irish Dept of Tourism,Arts Culture,Gaeltacht, Sport and Media. The video was made by visiting two groups either side of the Border - Cooley Connect Well and Hilltown, and talked to local people about the real issue of food security. The UN and EU believes that growing your own on a local basis maybe the best way to build resilience in communities across Europe to help us survive any Food Security shocks in the near future whether that be from climate or war. Strangely we all used to do that as a norm, as we find out when we talked to the two groups over several days in September 2024.
