Learning the Nagoya Uchi/Attack exploit - Space Invaders (Arcade) Gameplay #9

In the last episode I got to a higher score of 2750 using some of the methods I was looking up online, but this time there's a specific technique in this game I want to learn called the Nagoya Uchi or Nagoya Attack exploit. This bug takes advantage of a gameplay quirk where the projectiles fired by the invaders don't have hitbox collision until they've crossed a single row, so if the invaders are at the very bottom row, they can't hurt you so long as you attack them in a specific order/direction and do sufficient set up work before they get to the very bottom. If you master this technique, you can theoretically wipe entire waves out without ever getting hit once. Of course, by letting the invaders to the very bottom row, you also risk letting the invaders advance one more row, which will result in a game over screen no matter how many extra lives you may have accumulated. I managed to figure out the fundamentals of Nagoya Uchi, however looking at the guides again I still messed up on the initial setup (which is why on the last row I couldn't take out the invaders on the far attacking side before they advance one more row), I also can definitely improve with timing my fire so I don't have to pause my movements every time I fire, or at least not pause as much. Once I master this technique, I can then start focusing even more on the UFO farming skills (counting my shots so I get 300-point UFOs every time) that I can use while waiting for the invaders to advance to the bottom row, and theoretically from there I should have all the skills needed to get extremely high scores in this game (although I believe this particular revision of Space Invaders rolls over/has a maximum score unlike the more colorful revision of this arcade game everyone typically uses for world record runs, but I'll worry about that when the time comes).
