Take an ordinary piece of MDF and turn it into a leather-look frame that could be taken for an antique. Simple, inexpensive and fun to do!
MATERIALS
Wooden frame...I used a piece of MDF that I cut a hole in!
Plastic stencil
Spatula for spreading paste
Moulding paste
Your choice of waterbased paints
Brush for paints
Stipple brush and rag
Isopropol Alcohol (available from a pharmacist)
Your choice of varnish
