Leaving Heaven

[18th January 2024] Song - Eminem - Leaving Heaven I posted this video due to my true passion for dance at the time. I had just turned 16 and wanted to start choregraphing and filming and end up creating something. This turned out to be the result, people at my school saw it and were relatively nice which is surprising. it got around 300 views on YouTube after a few weeks which I was very happy about. I ended up posting a few more dance videos which weren't as high quality and then lost motivation after a few months; I soon realised my dream to become a famous trendy dancer would be more difficult than I originally thought. To this day this is the best dancing related video or project I've made and I'm still very happy about it despite the imperfections. It was a big step for my video creating as it was the first video I ever posted on here (excluding video game vids when I was younger). Surprisingly, the video ended up gaining more attraction over the next year from when it was originally posted, and hit around 49k views some time in 2021. I was so gassed because it showed me that the ideas I had in mind for my future were ever so possible. I just had to stay true to myself and put the work in. Strangers who received the video from recommendations were either confused, supportive or would make fun. I can't blame them, it's not everyday that you witness such spectacular demonstration of what the human body is capable of ;). Today I renamed the video from 'EMINEM-Leaving Heaven(feat. Skylar Grey)- Choreography' to the current title of 'edgy teen dances to eminem in car park'. Enjoy. [22 February 2020] This is the first time I’ve done anything like this, I’ve thought about it for a while and despite what people might think this is what I enjoy doing and i don’t care what anyone thinks anymore. Obviously this isn’t the best first project but I’m gonna continue with this in the future and over time I hope I’ll improve more each time. I made this choreography and it means a lot to me. I know that this is the first step and I understand that I may get hate or people might be confused or might take the piss but that’s their choice.
